HAPPY FATHER’S DAY 2016
In celebrating the Father’s Day for the first time in Uganda on this 21st June every year, MFADV’s Team would like to wish all Fathers across Uganda and the entire World a very happy “Father’s Day”.
As our theme reads “Do Fathers still treasure in being Fathers?” MFADVU works hard in line with this theme to rejuvenate the value of being a father in Uganda and globally. This will be done by creating a safe ground for fathers to discuss about Father’s experiences in order to challenge and end behaviors and practices that are harmful to them.
Changes in Fathers behaviors can’t be effective and sustainable without mother’s support. So, we at MFADVU would like to encourage Fathers to work in partnership with Mothers, such that we groom good Fathers and Mothers (Children) of tomorrow, in order for the nation have good future citizens.
Together we can end risky behaviors; we Fathers unnecessarily take on detriment of our own lives and wellbeing. We need to keep our lives safe for ourselves and for our beloved ones. Health is wealth, if we are real Fathers, then we need to keep our health preciously.
Once again, have a Happy Father’s Day 2016 and enjoy it!
