Meet our Team

The General Assembly is constituted by all members who are either life members, full members, associate members or honorary members.

The Advisory Council, Chaired by Prince Godfrey Bamweyana functions as the policy organ of the organisation and advises the implementation unit. The Board of Directors is formed by 7 members, these are elected by the General Assembly to represent relevant issues arising in regard to the work of MFADV. The Board of Directors is chaired by Mr. Byabagambi Placid.

MFADVU is functioning as the Secretariat and is headed by Lauben Muhabuzi. He is working as the executive Director, who implements the organisation’s policies and carries out specific practical activities that aim at reaching the organisation’s declared objectives. It is advised by the members of the board. Currently, the Secretariat is staffed by:

He is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. He is in charge of Leadership, Operational planning and management, Program planning and management, Human resources planning and management, Financial planning and management, Community relations/advocacy, Risk management among others

Morgan Aden Kawalya – Program Director

He oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. He also accomplishes human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.

He handles all the activities in the organization which falls under Communication and to publicize the organization activities and build its Brand Name.

Her role is to ensure the efficient performance of all departments in an organization. This done through developing an appropriate office management strategy, creating an appropriate assets management strategy, planning and controlling administrative budget, developing administrative procedures, enhancing the office staff’s ability to manage and organize office effectively and professionally.
